Online newspapers regularly archive their stories. The two major
publishers of newspapers in Australia, News Limited and Fairfax,
have fee-based digital archive services available.
News Limited
has a text-based digital archives that includes News Corporation's
newspapers in Australia, such as The Australian, The Adelaide Advertiser,
The Courier Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Hobart Mercury and The
Herald Sun.
The F2 Network News Store provides an online searchable archive
to Fairfax publications from 1990 to present. Fairfax newspapers
include The Age, The Australian Financial Review and The Sydney

In addition to this, the State Library of New South Wales has an
online index available to articles about Australia and Australians
published in the Sydney Morning Herald and associated publications:
Sun Herald, Eastern Herald, Northern Herald and Good Weekend from
1988 onwards. There is substantial coverage on tobacco. The index
